Our Goal Is To Help Workers

Workers Aid All Sector Union (WAASU) was founded in July 2023 by committed uMkhonto Wesizwe (MK) Party ground soldiers and leaders. These founders recognised a critical need for a fearless union that refuses to compromise, especially in a labour environment where many existing unions have grown passive or captured.

The rise of the MK Party inspired the formation of WAASU, giving workers hope for a militant, uncompromising, worker-led organisation. The union is currently in discussions with the MK Party Labour and Civic Organisation (LACO) to align programmes, support structures, and workplace interventions.
